How do you ship? How can I be sure the auction lots I win arrive safely?
We have seen more than our fair share of poorly packaged coins. At Blue Rose Auctions, we pack and ship material in the same exact way we would want to receive them. In the case of loss or mishandling by the carrier, all of our packages are 100% insured and you will not be expected to pay for something that doesn’t get delivered.
What is your return policy?
All auction sales are final. If your purchases arrive and you are unhappy, please contact us! We are confident we will find a solution that makes everyone pleased.
With that being said, PLEASE do your due diligence before bidding. We will not, and cannot, cancel bids or accept returns. The coins we offer are on consignment and we do not own them.
How do you determine the grade of a raw coin? Are you qualified to do so?
In numismatics, grading can be subjective. We try to grade accurately and conservatively, using the American Numismatic Association standards for coin grading. We are confident in our experience enough to accurately grade and describe them as such. When there is any uncertainty, the grade will be omitted.
Do you charge sales tax?
A 6% sales tax is collected on all purchases with Kentucky shipping and/or billing addresses.
How accurate are the coin images?
We put great pride into taking the most accurate photos that we possibly can. We will never alter the photo or play with the lighting to hide imperfections.
Why is the mint mark in parenthesis?
This implies the mint location, as determined by the third-party grading service. The actual coin does not have a mint mark. Example: 2013(W).
